expertise.
One network, every step of the journey.
U Vision Group isn’t a chain of identical clinics. It’s a coordinated network of true specialists — each with deep expertise in their own field, all working from a single standard of care. Records and care plans move seamlessly across the family, so no patient ever has to start their journey over.
It’s a model built for continuity: when a cataract assessment uncovers early dry eye, or laser vision correction calls for new eyewear afterward, the next specialist is already part of the same team. For the clinicians who practise within it, that means a connected, research-led environment — and for every patient, eye care that follows them through life.
Explore the NetworkThe depth of a specialist. The breadth of a network.
Each U Vision Group brand is a true specialist in its field. Together, they form one of the most comprehensive eye care networks in the Greater Toronto Area — depth and breadth under a single standard of care.
Deep specialists, one connected network
Each brand goes deep in a single field — true specialists, not generalists. Together they span the full breadth of eye care, so every patient gets genuine expertise at each step of their journey — wide and deep, by design.
Research & AI innovation
From AI-guided post-operative cataract care to pioneering studies on artificial intelligence interpreting clinical eye images — published in journals including JAMA Ophthalmology — our clinicians are helping shape the future of eye care. It’s part of a body of more than 300 peer-reviewed papers spanning cataract and ReLACS, retina, glaucoma, and oculoplastics. We don’t just follow the evidence — we help generate it.
Information over pressure
Born in our surgical counselling culture: every patient receives complete, balanced information — including OHIP-covered options — and makes their own decision. We guide and inform; we never push.
Looking to join a multi-site GTA specialist network with a strong research mandate? UVG recruits ophthalmologists and optometrists — from subspecialty-trained surgeons to optometrists building their clinical focus — across our growing network.
Eighteen ophthalmologists. Six optometrists. One team.
Across the network, 18 ophthalmologists and 6 optometrists work as one coordinated team. Many of our ophthalmologists are fellowship-trained subspecialists — university-affiliated and hospital-credentialed across the full breadth of medical and surgical eye care — while our optometrists bring their own areas of clinical focus and expertise.
